    B-Part Am Gleisdreieck is now open! As another pioneer on the site of Urbane Mitte Am Gleisdreieck, it will function as a laboratory for the urban quarter of the future for the next few years. Senator Katrin Lompscher and B-Part initiator Marc F. Kimmich pressed the start button together.

  • INFORMATIVE AFTERNOON SESSION AT URBANE MITTE AND B-PART AM GLEISDREIECK

    Despite the sunny weather, the first informative afternoon gathering about Urbane Mitte and B-Part Am Gleisdreieck has been well received. The event was held in the premises of B-Part and was led by BÜRO DR. VOGEL GmbH. After the Q&A session, employees of St. Oberholz, who manages the coworking spaces, gave a guided tour of the B-Part.

  • PRESENTATION OF URBANE MITTE TRAFFIC CONCEPT

    The future Urbane Mitte Am Gleisdreieck will focus on forward-looking mobility concepts. The aim of the construction project is the sustainable urban development of the district Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. Around 100 interested visitors and residents took the opportunity to find out more about the traffic concept for the Urbane Mitte.

  • B-PART SPORTS OPENED: B-PART AM GLEISDREIECK WELCOMES ITS NEW INNOVATIVE OUTDOOR TRAINING PARK

    “Exercise for everyone” is the idea behind the new outdoor training area, the B-Part Sports. It was opened on 23rd of February 2020 on the grounds of the Urbanen Mitte Am Gleisdreieck by sports ambassador Philipp Boy, sports department head Michaela Schulte and B-Part founder Marc F. Kimmich.

    The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung visited the B-Part Am Gleisdreieck at the end of February for a one-day group excursion in the context of the seminar “Urban Planning Berlin.”

  • B-Part Am Gleisdreieck wins ICONIC Award 2020: Innovative Architecture

    B-Part Am Gleisdreieck, the temporary pioneer building made of wood on the grounds of the Urban Mitte Am Gleisdreieck, was awarded with the independent seal of quality of international standing “ICONIC AWARD 2020: Innovative Architecture – Selection” in the category “Architecture: Special”. The two-storey wooden building was designed by Scharabi Architekten; the interior design and parts of the interior fittings were created by Supersupply Berlin. Established by the German Design Council, the award is the first independent architecture and design competition to take into account the interplay between the various disciplines.

    Under the lead of Peter Weis, the District Office Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg of Berlin (Environmental and Nature Conservation Office) invited to a public meeting “FahrRat F-K” on 20.09.2018. This committee is to assist the Senate administration in all questions regarding cycling policy and to submit proposals and suggestions. In this context, BÜRO DR.
